“My actions were not good enough” – Iwobi apologises for red card vs Jordan

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has admitted fault and apologised for the late red card he received in Nigeria’s 2 2 friendly draw against Jordan on March 31. The Fulham star was sent off in added time for retaliating after being held back by Jordan captain Amer Jamous, sparking a scuffle that soured the end of the game. Speaking on the Alexander Yaa Digg podcast, Iwobi said he felt compelled to address the incident publicly and take full responsibility for his actions. “I need to apologise to all my Nigerian teammates, staff and everyone who cares about Nigeria. International Friendly: Jordan Deny Eagles With Late Equaliser

The Super Eagles of Nigeria were denied back to back friendly wins after being held to a 2–2 draw by Jordan in Antalya, Turkey. Togo held by Guinea after late collapse
