Tinubu declares security emergency backs state police

President Bola Tinubu has declared a nationwide security emergency and backed the creation of state police as Nigeria confronts rising attacks, mass abductions and banditry. Army, police foil night attack on Benin–Sapele road

Soldiers and police officers have rescued a missing passenger after a late-night gun attack on two commercial buses along the Benin–Sapele Expressway near Obayantor 2 community in Edo State.
