Adansi Chiefs Urge Tourism at Helicopter Crash Site
The Adansi Traditional Council has called on the government to transform the Sikaman Brofoyedru helicopter crash site in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region into a national tourist attraction. The appeal was made during a visit by council members to the crash site, where they performed final cleansing rituals for community members who assisted in retrieving the remains of the eight military officers who tragically lost their lives. Speaking to Adom News correspondent Isaac K. Normanyo, the Adansi Akyeamehene, Nana Kusi Anowuo, explained that the rituals were essential to protect those involved in the recovery process from any spiritual consequences.
