TFA Future Liga 2025 finale showcases young football talent

The 2025 edition of the TFA Future Liga, powered by The Future Academy (TFA) and supported by its Talent ID Partner, wrapped up recently in Lagos with a vibrant showcase of football, teamwork, and discipline. The grassroots tournament featured eight teams — AustenPlus FC, Dazzle FC, Right to Smile FA, Royalty FA, Varsity FA, F8 Ballers, Clique Sport, and The Future Academy — competing across age groups. From the opening whistle, the pitches came alive with goals, saves, and the passion of aspiring young footballers. Beyond the results, the Liga focused on player development, discipline, and leadership. Football 4 Girls Project Set to Kick Off in Brong Ahafo.

The Brong Ahafo Region is set to host the "Football 4 Girls" project from October 15-17, 2024. This initiative, led by the Ghana Education Service and the Technical Directorate, aims to nurture the football talents of girls aged 6-12 across eight schools in the region. Organized by the Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association (BARFA), this project is part of the GFA’s Women's Football Strategy, which started in 2022, and focuses on promoting football among young girls.

GFA Vice-President Inspects Borehole Projects in Upper West.

Ghana Football Association (GFA) Vice-President Mark Addo recently visited the Upper West Region to inspect various borehole projects initiated by the GFA. The projects, located at Tendamba JHS and Wa Senior High School, are part of the GFA's initiative to provide sustainable water sources for football fields used in association-organized matches.During his visit, Addo was accompanied by RFA Coordinator Daasebre Adu-Asare, Upper West RFA Chairman Alhaji Sadugu Yahaya, and Executive Council members. Addo expressed satisfaction with the impact of the Tendamba JHS borehole, which not only waters the football field but also supplies clean drinking water to the school.He highlighted the GFA’s commitment to investing in infrastructure to support grassroots football development. His visit coincided with the Upper West Regional Football Association Congress held on September 26, 2024.
