Minority Demands Transparency on Seized Gold and Cash
The Minority in Parliament is pressing the government for an explanation regarding the seizure of gold and cash by National Security in February. They are calling for clarity on the value of the assets, which they claim are worth billions of dollars.At a recent press conference, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, the Member of Parliament for Assin South, revealed that the seizure occurred in southern Accra, where 12 containers filled with gold bars and an unspecified amount of US dollars and Ghanaian cedis were found.
