Ex-Black Stars Player Inkoom Faces Court Over Alleged Visa Scam.
Samuel Inkoom, a former Black Stars player, is in legal trouble after being accused of defrauding a student, Benjamin Opare Addo, of $3,500. Inkoom allegedly promised to secure a visa for Addo to travel to the Netherlands but failed to deliver the service. In court, Inkoom denied the charges and was granted bail set at GH₵50,000. His defense highlighted that he had refunded part of the money and was working to return the balance. The case will resume on December 30, 2024. Inkoom, who runs S. Inkoom Travel and Tour, convinced Addo to pay a total of GH₵32,100 in installments for the visa, but failed to provide the promised documents.
