Funke Akindele sets box office record in Canada, North America
Actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has achieved a new milestone with her 2025 film Behind The Scenes grossing over 111,256 dollars in Canada and 190,249 dollars in North America. The performance makes it the highest grossing Nollywood release in those markets and pushes her combined box office earnings in Nigeria and Ghana to over 2.2 billion naira. In a post on Instagram, Akindele thanked fans in Canada, the United States, Nigeria and Ghana for their support.
