Trump Says Gaza Ceasefire Holding as Israeli Strikes Kill Over 100 Palestinians
United States President Donald Trump says the Washington-brokered ceasefire in Gaza is holding, even as Israeli strikes killed more than 100 Palestinians in a short period, including dozens of children. Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported that about 12 hours from Tuesday to Wednesday, at least 104 Palestinians were killed and 253 wounded. The Palestinian Civil Defence in Gaza condemned the attacks as documented crimes and demanded an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire across the Strip. One of the strikes hit a tent sheltering displaced people in Deir el-Balah in central Gaza, medical sources told reporters. Other strikes were reported in both the north and the south of the enclave, adding to the civilian toll and prompting urgent appeals from humanitarian groups.
