Fire Academy Recruits Complete Orientation Program
Newly enlisted personnel in Recruit Course 55 and Cadet Intake 24 have completed a two‑week orientation programme at the Ghana National Fire Service Fire Academy and Training School (FATS) as part of their induction process before formal training begins. What We Found According to official GNFS updates, the orientation programme—covering code of conduct, discipline, safety protocols, and institutional culture—was successfully completed by all recruits from Course 55 and Cadet Intake 24 at FATS in Jamestown, Accra. This orientation precedes the 28‑week basic training programme, after which 1,658 recruits (843 men and 815 women) will graduate, equipped for deployment across Ghana.
