Why I won’t defend FG’s charge against me – Nnamdi Kanu
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has announced that he will no longer defend the seven-count terrorism-related charge brought against him by the Federal Government, describing the case as “invalid and unlawful.” At the resumed hearing before the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday, Kanu, who previously chose to represent himself after disengaging his legal team, told the court that he found no valid charge in the case file that warranted a defence. Kanu said, “Having reviewed the entire case, I discovered there is no valid charge to defend.
