Nigeria, Cameroon renew rivalries ahead of 2026 WAFCON
Nigeria’s Super Falcons will rekindle their fierce rivalry with the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in a double header friendly series arranged as part of preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. The Nigeria Football Federation confirmed that the reigning African champions will face Cameroon in Yaoundé on Saturday, February 28, and again on Tuesday, March 3, during the FIFA women’s international window. NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi said all arrangements have been concluded with the Cameroonian federation, FECAFOOT, stressing that the goal is to give the Falcons top level tests before they begin their title defence.
