Police dismiss viral Abuja terror alert arrest video maker

The Nigeria Police Force has dismissed a viral video claiming there was an ongoing terrorist attack in Abuja, describing it as false and aimed at causing panic. Force Public Relations Officer DCP Anthony Placid said no such incident took place in the Federal Capital Territory and warned that the video was entirely misleading and malicious. He explained that preliminary investigations showed the clip was edited from different online footage to create a fake terror alert designed to incite fear and undermine confidence in security in the nation’s capital.
