Iwobi Dives Into Music, To Release EP April 9
Super Eagles and Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi is set to officially launch his music career with the release of his debut extended play (EP) titled More To Life on April 9, 2026. The Nigerian international, who records under the stage name 17, has already given fans a taste of the project through the lead single, Track 0 (Freestyle). The EP is an eight track project that blends Afrowave and Afrobeats, drawing heavily on Iwobi’s Nigerian roots and personal experiences. It features a strong lineup of collaborators including Fido, the artist behind Nigeria’s biggest song of 2025, along with Giddi, Teniola Time, 4AM, P17, SPKS and Aston Villa star Amadou Onana, who appears as 24AM.
