Female passenger dies, six injured in Lagos expressway crash

A female passenger has died and six other people have been injured in a road accident along the Oworonsoki Apapa Expressway in Lagos. The crash occurred at New Castle Bus Stop, inward Gbagada, and involved a commercial vehicle carrying passengers. According to reports, the impact of the collision left the woman with fatal injuries, while the other occupants sustained varying degrees of injuries. Emergency responders, including traffic and rescue officials, were quickly deployed to the scene to manage traffic, evacuate the victims and clear the road. Tinubu orders full probe into Kano Singer Market fire

LASEMA releases preliminary report on Qatar Air emergency landing

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has released its preliminary report on the Qatar Airways flight that made an emergency landing at Murtala Muhammed International Airport after developing a mid‑air technical fault. Fire guts 10 shops at Oshodi Arena market

A fire on Tuesday evening destroyed about 10 shops at the popular Arena Market in Bolade, Oshodi, Lagos State. The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the incident in a statement by its Controller General, Margaret Adeseye.​ The agency said it received a distress call at about 5:50 p.m. and deployed firefighting units immediately. Fire Guts Generator House in Ibadan, Major Disaster Averted
