Female passenger dies, six injured in Lagos expressway crash

A female passenger has died and six other people have been injured in a road accident along the Oworonsoki Apapa Expressway in Lagos. The crash occurred at New Castle Bus Stop, inward Gbagada, and involved a commercial vehicle carrying passengers. According to reports, the impact of the collision left the woman with fatal injuries, while the other occupants sustained varying degrees of injuries. Tinubu orders full probe into Kano Singer Market fire

An early morning fire on Monday has gutted parts of the Kano essential commodities market, popularly known as Singa market, destroying yet to be quantified goods and property. LASEMA releases preliminary report on Qatar Air emergency landing

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has released its preliminary report on the Qatar Airways flight that made an emergency landing at Murtala Muhammed International Airport after developing a mid‑air technical fault. Two persons have died in Lagos after a tanker collided with a commercial motorcycle, also known as okada, in the early hours of Wednesday. Fire guts 10 shops at Oshodi Arena market

A fire on Tuesday evening destroyed about 10 shops at the popular Arena Market in Bolade, Oshodi, Lagos State. The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the incident in a statement by its Controller General, Margaret Adeseye.​ The agency said it received a distress call at about 5:50 p.m. and deployed firefighting units immediately. Fire Guts Generator House in Ibadan, Major Disaster Averted

A late-night fire outbreak on Monday in Ibadan was swiftly contained by the Oyo State Fire Services Agency, preventing what could have been a devastating disaster. The incident occurred around 9:28 pm at No. 23B Iyaganku Crescent, when a generator house in a private residence went up in flames.
