Nollywood actress Toyin Alausa has condemned the growing wave of online harassment and the widespread sharing of disturbing content on social media. She warned that the digital space is becoming increasingly toxic, with many users treating other people’s pain and private moments as entertainment. Alausa was particularly critical of the trend of circulating photos and videos of deceased persons online. She described the habit of filming and uploading images of lifeless bodies as disturbing, unnecessary, and deeply hurtful to grieving families.
