Ghanaian Entrepreneur Sues Kevin Taylor for GH¢20M Over Defamation
Dr. William Anarfi Sarpong, a Ghanaian medical entrepreneur, has taken legal action against US-based journalist Kevin Taylor and his media platform, Loud Silence Media, for defamation. The lawsuit, filed at the High Court in Accra, seeks GH¢20 million in damages over allegations made by Taylor during a Facebook Live broadcast between February 26 and 28, 2025.According to the court documents, Taylor accused Dr. Anarfi of fraudulent dealings and misconduct involving the Ghanaian government. However, Dr. Anarfi, the owner of Spintex Medical Center, has denied these claims, labeling them as false and malicious fabrications intended to damage his reputation.
