Team Nigeria has emerged as the dominant force at the 2026 Confederation of African Cycling Para-Track and Track African Championships, blazing the trail with a total of 16 medals on home soil in Abuja. After just two days of intense racing at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Velodrome, the host nation surged to the top of the medals table. According to official figures, Nigeria’s cyclists have so far amassed nine gold, five silver and two bronze medals across various para-cycling and track events.
