NBA anti graft panel renews push against corruption

The Nigerian Bar Association Anti Corruption Committee has joined the global community in marking International Anti Corruption Day 2025, restating its commitment to fight corruption across Nigeria. Senator Ali Ndume has urged President Bola Tinubu to take decisive action — even if it means acting like a dictator — to resolve the escalating standoff between the Dangote Refinery and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN). Nigeria Can Defeat Corruption, Says EFCC Chairman

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukayode, has expressed confidence that Nigeria can overcome corruption if citizens embrace transparency and accountability. Olukayode made this call at the 12th Annual Conference of the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN), held in Effurun, Delta State. He was represented by Mr. Williams Oseghale, Assistant Commander and Head of Public Affairs at the EFCC’s Benin Zonal Directorate.
