During the recent Dumba festival, Wa Naa Seidu Fuseini Pelpuo IV, the Overlord of the Wala State, urged President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to keep his commitment to repair the Wa-Bole-Bamboi road. The President had pledged to address the road's poor condition during his last visit to the region, describing it as a crucial parting gift to the people. In his remarks at the festival, Naa Pelpuo highlighted the road's deplorable state, emphasizing the difficulties faced by travelers. He also voiced concerns regarding rising insecurity in the area, citing instances of ritual murders and inadequate street lighting, despite efforts from the Regional Security Council and the establishment of a Neighbourhood Watchdog Committee to enhance safety.
