Cucurella Says He Wouldn’t Have Sacked Maresca Mid Season
Chelsea left back Marc Cucurella says he would not have sacked Enzo Maresca in the middle of the season, insisting the club needed patience with the Italian coach. Speaking while on duty with Spain, he argued that constant managerial changes have hurt Chelsea’s progress. Cucurella said the team became more consistent under Maresca after working together for about 18 months.
