Davido apologises to Tosinbee over custody case mix-up
Afrobeats star Davido has apologised to gospel singer Tosinbee after wrongly linking him to a lawyer involved in his ongoing child custody battle. The mix-up started after a tense court session over the custody of Davido’s daughter, Imade, involving his estranged partner, Sophia Momodu. Following the hearing at the Lagos State High Court, Davido went on social media to criticise one of Sophia’s lawyers. In the process, he reshared a post by Tosinbee, apparently assuming the singer was the lawyer’s son, and used harsh words against him.
