US-Based Boxer Ibeh Challenges Anthony Joshua to Fight in Nigeria

US-based Nigerian heavyweight boxer, Kingsley Ibeh, has publicly challenged former world champion Anthony Joshua to a fight, offering to face him even in Joshua's ancestral home of Nigeria. Ibeh, who holds a record of 16 wins with 14 knockouts, stated that a bout with Joshua would be a "dream come true." He expressed confidence in his ability to win, saying, "I would definitely stop him, no questions about that." While he would prefer the fight to be in Nigeria to make a significant statement, Ibeh declared his readiness to fight Joshua anywhere, including London's O2 Arena. He acknowledged Joshua as an idol but emphasized that in the ring, he has "mean intentions." This challenge comes as Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, has hinted at a potential return for the British-Nigerian boxer later this year or early next.
