Police Arrest Two Cameroonians for Human Trafficking in Ogun
The Ogun State Police Command has arrested two Cameroonian nationals for involvement in human trafficking and kidnapping. The police said that the suspects lured victims into Nigeria by promising to help them get foreign visas. A female victim from Cameroon reported that she was brought into Nigeria by a man named Donald, who promised her a Canadian visa. On arriving at Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos, she and her younger sister were taken to Mowe in Ogun State, where they were held against their will. The woman managed to escape on November 3 and alerted the police. Officers from the Anti-Kidnapping Unit raided the hideout and rescued another victim, Kengne Maeva.
