Malami released after EFCC grilling, to return for another session
Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has been released after hours of questioning by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Abuja. Posting on his X account early Saturday, Malami confirmed that he had left EFCC custody and was scheduled to return for another meeting with investigators. He said the anti-graft agency questioned him on issues related to his time in office and that he was cooperating fully with the process. Malami reiterated that he had nothing to hide and restated his pledge to honour every EFCC invitation as a law-abiding citizen.
