Nigeria Launches 2025 Transparency Index for Government Agencies
The Nigerian government has launched the 2025 Transparency and Integrity Index (TII), a tool designed to promote accountability and ethical standards across all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). Announced by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), the index will assess MDAs on five key areas: financial management, control of corruption, open procurement, citizen engagement, and inclusive human resource practices. The Director-General of BPSR, Mr. Dasuki Arabi, stated that the TII is not just about rankings but about building a culture of openness that inspires public trust.
