Tinubu: Abducted Pupils Not Abandoned
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that abducted schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo and Borno states have not been forgotten or abandoned, pledging that the federal government is deploying all instruments of state to secure their safe return. Speaking through Vice President Kashim Shettima during a visit to affected communities, the President condemned the barbaric attacks and reiterated that the government will work with state authorities to rescue all victims. Shettima described the incident as “unfortunate” and emphasized that the President’s priority is the safe return of all abducted pupils and teachers.
