Israel’s incursion into Syria kills at least 12, including children
At least 12 people, among them children, have been killed after Israel launched a new incursion into Syrian territory in the Damascus countryside. Syrian state media reported that several Israeli soldiers were also wounded in the clashes. The Israeli raid, carried out at dawn, struck the town of Beit Jinn and sent dozens of families fleeing to safer areas. According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, the bodies of at least five Syrians—including two children—were taken to the Golan National Hospital in al-Salam, Quneitra. Israeli drones continued to hover over the area throughout the day, worsening the fear and preventing movement.
