Accord Crisis Deepens As Faction Picks Bamigbola As Osun Guber Candidate

In a new twist to the unfolding drama within the Accord Party in Osun State, a faction of the party has elected Bamigbola as its governorship candidate for the 2026 election. The primary, held on Sunday, reportedly drew about 300 delegates from across the state who endorsed him as their preferred flagbearer.​ This move comes only days after Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke was declared winner of another Accord governorship primary for the same 2026 poll.
