Atebubu-Amantin MP and MCE Intervene After Violent Land Dispute in Akokoa

The Member of Parliament for Atebubu-Amantin, Sanja Nanja, has assured residents of Akokoa and Amantin that swift steps are being taken to restore peace following a violent incident linked to a land dispute. The assurance follows an attack on Sunday, September 9, 2025, when masked individuals allegedly set fire to the house of the Krontihene of Akokoa using petrol. The suspected arson is believed to have stemmed from a long-standing disagreement over land in the area.
