Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing Near Obuasi
Another helicopter has been forced to make an emergency landing at Mensonso, near Obuasi in the Adansi District of the Ashanti Region. The Member of Parliament for Adansi Akrofuom, Joseph Azumah, confirmed the incident, which he believes occurred around 11 a.m. Mr. Azumah explained that the aircraft was travelling from Accra to Chiraa in the Sunyani West District of the Bono Region when the pilot diverted due to poor weather conditions, which made it unsafe to continue the journey. “Continuing the trip would have posed serious risks,” the MP noted.
