Two dismissed soldiers arrested for robbery as police recover three cars in Ibadan

Two dismissed soldiers of the Nigerian Army, David Okhaie and Balogun Afolabi, have been arrested by the Oyo State Police Command for alleged armed robbery in Ibadan.​ Spokesman of the Command, Ayanlade Olayinka, said the suspects were tracked and arrested by operatives of the Monitoring Unit following credible intelligence and an intense manhunt within the Ibadan metropolis. He described the arrest as part of ongoing efforts to curb violent crimes and protect lives and property across the state.​ Olayinka explained that Okhaie, 48, from the Ojoo area of Ibadan, is a dismissed Army Corporal who falsely presented himself as a serving Army Captain. Police nab 10 suspects for kidnapping, robbery in Imo

The Imo State Police Command has arrested 10 suspects for alleged involvement in kidnapping, armed robbery and cult-related activities in different parts of the state. The suspects were paraded at the command headquarters in Owerri, where police also displayed recovered weapons and stolen items linked to their operations.​ Police Commissioner Danjuma Aboki said the arrests followed sustained intelligence-led raids and patrols targeting criminal hideouts. Police in the Central Region have launched investigations into a suspected armed robbery at Fijai near Kasoa in the Gomoa East District, where a 35-year-old man, Ben Owusu, has mysteriously gone missing. Three Armed Robbers Jailed 125 Years for Attacking Lotto Company Boss.

Three individuals have been handed a total of 125 years in prison for their roles in an armed robbery attack on Mr. Makafui Atsu Kumordzi, the Director of Makafui and Son’s Limited, a lotto business in Ayitikope, Akatsi South Municipality, Volta Region.The convicted men, Nzete Chukunhru Best, 28, Mark Billy Agbozo (aka Teacher), 31, and Ernest Sokpi Amevor (aka Peace Maker), 32, faced charges of robbery, conspiracy, and abetment.
