Amaechi, Elumelu, Genevieve Nnaji attend service of songs for Ojy Okpe’s father
Former Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi, billionaire banker Tony Elumelu and Nollywood star Genevieve Nnaji were among top dignitaries who attended the service of songs for the late father of Arise TV presenter Ojy Okpe in Lagos. The event was held in honour of Chief Matthew Egwuenu, a retired commissioner of police and Ojy’s father, who died on February 6 at the age of 80. Videos and photos from the service showed Genevieve Nnaji seated close to Ojy as she paid her respects and offered support to her long‑time friend. Amaechi and Elumelu were also captured greeting the family and other guests as hymns, tributes and prayers were offered for the late elder statesman.
