Renowned sports journalist Veronica Commey has been appointed as the Deputy Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA). The announcement was made by Kofi Adams, the Minister of Sports and Recreation, during the launch of a sports psychology training program at the Accra Sports Stadium on March 24, 2025.Commey’s appointment is a significant milestone in her illustrious career, combining her expertise in journalism and administration. She has been a key figure in the sports journalism field, having served as the Chief Sports Journalist at the Ghana News Agency (GNA) and as a reporter at GTV.
