Anioma Union to Honour Nwoko at First Abuja Anioma Festival

The Izu Anioma Towns Union in Abuja is set to hold the first Anioma Cultural Festival, known as Anioma Day, on November 8 at the Old Parade Ground in Area 10, Garki, Abuja. As part of the festival, the Union will honour Senator Ned Nwoko and other prominent Anioma natives for their service, cultural promotion, and contributions to the Anioma community. The event will include awards for excellence and patriotism for individuals from Anioma living in Nigeria and abroad. The Union’s president, Chief Luke Enelichi, announced that the festival will take place every two years to celebrate the rich traditions and customs of Anioma people from Delta State.
