Faure Gnassingbé en visite de travail à Luanda

À l’invitation du président angolais João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, également président en exercice de l’Union africaine, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, président du Conseil et médiateur de l’Union africaine pour la crise dans la région des Grands Lacs, effectue ce lundi une visite de travail à Luanda. Au cours de ce déplacement, les deux chefs d’État doivent s’entretenir en tête-à-tête sur les relations de coopération entre leurs pays ainsi que sur plusieurs dossiers régionaux et continentaux. Les échanges devraient notamment porter sur les efforts d’intégration africaine, ainsi que sur les questions de paix, de sécurité et de stabilité dans la région des Grands Lacs. Zamfara Governor Joins Tinubu at G20 Summit in South Africa

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has been selected to join President Bola Tinubu’s delegation for the 20th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa (Nov 22-23, 2025). Six other Nigerian governors will attend, joining leaders from all G20 member states, 16 guest countries, and regional communities from Africa, the Caribbean, and East Asia. The summit, themed “Solidarity, Equality, Sustainability,” will address issues including trade, development finance, global debt, climate change, food systems, energy transition, critical minerals, decent work, and the role of artificial intelligence. Tinubu is also expected to hold strategic meetings aimed at strengthening international cooperation, security, and economic development. After the G20, President Tinubu will attend the AU-EU Summit in Angola, where discussions will cover infrastructure, digital transformation, agribusiness, and inclusive growth.

Sommet UE-UA à Luanda : les réparations en débat

Nigeria, Angola Sign New Bilateral Deals After 24-Year Pause

Nigeria and Angola have revived their Bilateral Joint Economic Commission after a 24-year hiatus, sealing fresh agreements to boost socio-economic, cultural, and political cooperation. UAE, Angola sign pact to boost ties

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has strengthened its diplomatic and economic presence in Africa by signing a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) with Angola. AfroBasket: D’Tigers Return From Angola Today

Nigeria’s senior men’s basketball team, D’Tigers, will arrive in the country today (Monday) after wrapping up their campaign at the 31st FIBA AfroBasket tournament in Angola, held from August 12–24. Gideon Mensah Reflects on Key Absences Ahead of AFCON 2025 Qualifiers.
