Atletico Madrid are facing an anxious wait over the fitness of Ademola Lookman ahead of their UEFA Champions League semi final first leg against Arsenal after the Super Eagles forward was ruled out of Wednesday’s La Liga clash with Elche. The club’s medical department confirmed that Lookman and strike partner Alexander Sorloth finished Saturday’s Copa del Rey final defeat to Real Sociedad with discomfort and have now been placed on individual training programmes away from the main squad.
