Afenifere Calls On Tinubu To Resolve Osun LG Crisis The Pan-Yoruba socio-political group Afenifere has urged President Bola Tinubu to step in and resolve the local government (LG) crisis in Osun State . In a statement released on Wednesday and signed by its state leadership, Afenifere said it was deeply concerned about the ongoing instability and called for urgent federal intervention. The group also asked the national leadership of Afenifere to take swift disciplinary action against Oba Oladipo Olaitan , whom they accused of illegally declaring himself head of the group in Osun and calling for the president’s impeachment over the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway project .
