The Commander of the Guards Brigade, Brigadier General Adebisi Onasanya, says bandits and other criminal elements operating in and around the Federal Capital Territory will face even tougher military pressure in 2026. He warned that the area will not be allowed to become a safe haven for criminals. Onasanya spoke in Abuja at the summit of Aso Rock during the brigade’s annual ascent of the rock, an exercise that marks the end of its training year and tests troops’ fitness, endurance and cohesion.
