Abronye DC on hunger strike in police custody

The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has reportedly embarked on a hunger strike while in police custody. His lawyer, Enoch Afoakwa, disclosed this after an Accra Circuit Court ordered his continued remand on Friday. According to Mr. Afoakwa, Abronye’s decision is a protest against what he described as political persecution and an unjust arrest.
