Al Ahli line up big summer move for Paul Onuachu

Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli are reportedly preparing an ambitious bid to sign Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu from Turkish club Trabzonspor this summer.​ Reports in Spain and Nigeria say the Jeddah club see the in form forward as a priority target as they plan for next season. Etafia backs Nwabali to be fit for Morocco 2025

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper coach Greg Etafia has offered a positive update on Stanley Nwabali’s fitness ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. Nwabali, Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper and a key player for Chippa United in South Africa, had recently been sidelined with injury, raising doubts over his availability for the tournament.​ Speaking from South Africa, Etafia confirmed that the 28 year old has progressed from gym sessions to light training on grass, which he described as a major step in the rehabilitation process. Chippa United worried over Nwabali’s fitness for AFCON

Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali is a major doubt for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco after fresh concerns over his fitness. Chippa United head coach Vusimuzi Vilakazi revealed that the 28 year old is nursing both an ankle problem and a more serious hand injury that may require surgery.​ Vilakazi said the injuries were made worse during Nwabali’s recent outing with the Super Eagles.
