‘No Negotiations’ – Iran Says It Has Not Responded To US Plan
Iran has denied that it is holding negotiations with the United States over a plan to end the ongoing war, insisting that Tehran has not yet replied to a reported US peace proposal. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a televised interview that while Iran receives messages from Washington directly and through regional intermediaries, these do not amount to talks. US officials have circulated a 15 point plan, passed to Tehran by Pakistan and other intermediaries, setting out proposals to halt hostilities and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
