Atletico Madrid unhappy with NFF over Lookman’s workload

Atletico Madrid are reportedly unhappy with the Nigeria Football Federation over the heavy workload given to winger Ademola Lookman during the recent international break. The Spanish club is concerned that the forward played the full 180 minutes across Nigeria’s two friendly matches against Iran and Jordan. Osimhen resumes training after forearm surgery

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has resumed light training after undergoing surgery on a fractured right forearm. His club Galatasaray confirmed that he has returned to the gym as part of a structured recovery programme. Osimhen sustained the injury during a UEFA Champions League match against Liverpool in mid March, following a collision with defender Ibrahima Konaté. 10 African teams qualify for 2026 World Cup
