Lindsey Vonn crashes in Olympic downhill after injury

American skiing legend Lindsey Vonn crashed during the women’s downhill race at the Winter Olympics, just nine days after suffering a serious ligament injury to her left knee. The 41-year-old had completed two solid training runs on the famous Olimpia delle Tofane course in Cortina, but her race ended abruptly after she lost control early in her descent.
