The Nigerian film industry is mourning the loss of veteran actor Olusegun Akinremi, popularly known as Chief Kanran, whose last performance was in Femi Adebayo’s yet-to-be-released film, Seven Doors. In an emotional tribute, Adebayo revealed that the film’s title—symbolising thresholds and transitions—has now taken on a deeper meaning with Kanran’s passing.“He played in Seven Doors, and now it feels like life mirrored art.
