Alerte toxique à Todman : les autorités appellent à la vigilance

Les autorités sanitaires sont en alerte depuis la découverte, le samedi 3 mai, d’une quantité importante de poissons morts dans le bassin de rétention des eaux de pluie de Todman, à Lomé. Informées rapidement, les équipes techniques du ministère de la Santé et de l’Hygiène publique ont déclenché une opération conjointe avec d’autres services compétents. Les poissons ont été récupérés et incinérés afin d’éviter tout risque de consommation par la population. Un périmètre de sécurité a été mis en place autour du bassin pour empêcher toute tentative de récupération de ces poissons potentiellement toxiques.
