DSS files cybercrime charges against El Rufai over alleged bugging of NSA Ribadu’s phone

The Department of State Services has filed cybercrime charges against former Kaduna State governor Nasir El Rufai over the alleged unlawful interception of National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu’s phone communications. The case was filed at the Federal High Court in Abuja, days after El Rufai claimed in a live TV interview that he listened to a tapped phone call in which Ribadu allegedly ordered security agents to detain him. According to court documents, prosecutors allege that El Rufai, 65, admitted during an appearance on Arise TV’s Prime Time programme on 13 February that he and unnamed associates had access to Ribadu’s private phone conversations. Six Rivers PDP Reps defect to APC over party crisis

Six members of the House of Representatives from Rivers State have defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress.
