Article arrow_drop_down

At least one person has been killed and five others wounded in a series of shooting incidents in central Israel near the Israeli-occupied West Bank, according to Israel’s emergency medical service Magen David Adom. The attacks unfolded on Sunday, with gunfire reported at multiple locations close to the Palestinian city of Qalqilya.

Israeli police confirmed that one of the attackers was neutralised. Security forces identified the shooter as a Palestinian citizen of Israel from the Arab locality of Taybeh. A manhunt was launched for additional assailants after reports of gunfire at a gas station near Kokhav Yair around 10:30 a.m. local time.

The IDF said both terrorists were eventually killed by security forces. One of the attackers was shot dead near Tzur Yitzhak, while the second was wounded and fled, only to be killed later near Tayibe following a coordinated manhunt.

Palestinian militant group Hamas praised the shooting but did not formally claim responsibility for the attack. The incident comes amid heightened tensions in the West Bank and ongoing military operations in Gaza.

Emergency services reported that four others were wounded in the attacks, in addition to the fatality. The exact conditions of the victims have not been fully disclosed, but authorities indicated that some injuries were moderate to serious.

This latest shooting is part of a recent wave of violence in and around the West Bank, with several attacks targeting Israelis in central Israel and on highways near the border. Israeli security agencies have intensified operations to track down and neutralise suspected attackers.

The actor explained that villain roles require intense emotional investment that can lead to what experts call "emotional bleed." Emotional bleed is a psychological phenomenon where the emotions, thoughts, and behaviors of a character an actor is playing begin to spill over or "bleed" into their personal life, making it difficult to distinguish between their own feelings and those of the character. This can lead to identity confusion, burnout, depression, anxiety, and strained personal relationships. Radical described the challenges of playing villain characters as a dangerous tightrope walk, requiring actors to maintain firm psychological boundaries and practice specific de-roling techniques after performance. The main dangers of method acting arise when actors blur the […]

The United States will consider using Iranian assets for those repairs as well, according to the source. The source did not specify what kind of assets the Treasury was examining. The language used to describe the new measures did not appear limited to frozen assets, suggesting that the U.S. could examine a broader range of Iranian financial holdings. Armenia Votes on Future Between Europe and Russia

A parliamentary election in Armenia could shape the country's future direction, as voters choose between deeper integration with the West and a return to closer ties with longtime ally Russia. The vote comes at a crucial moment for the South Caucasus nation of around three million people. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is seeking another term while promoting stronger cooperation with Europe, a policy that has increasingly strained relations with Moscow. Over the past several years, Armenia has gradually moved away from Russia's political orbit. Under Pashinyan's leadership, the government has launched steps toward European integration, strengthened relations with Western partners, and advanced peace negotiations with neighboring Azerbaijan through agreements supported by the United States. The Armenian leader has also worked to increase his country's engagement with European institutions. Earlier this year, Yerevan hosted a major gathering of European leaders and […]

Iran Criticizes US Over World Cup Visa Denials

Iran has accused the United States of preventing several key members of its national football team's support staff from attending the upcoming FIFA World Cup, despite American authorities approving travel documents for players and selected personnel. The dispute emerged after US officials confirmed that visas had been granted to Iran's football squad and what they described as "necessary support staff" ahead of the team's opening World Cup match in Los Angeles on June 15. However, US authorities also stated that the visa process would not be used to allow individuals with security concerns to enter the country under the guise of participating in the tournament. In response, Iran's embassy in Turkey criticized Washington's decision, accusing the US of using politics to interfere in international sport. Iranian officials claimed that a significant number of managerial staff, executives and technical advisers had […]
