Former Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye, marked a significant career milestone on Friday as he made his first courtroom appearance as a fully certified lawyer.
Dressed in the traditional wig and gown, Melaye appeared before Justice Emeka Nwite at Court 8 of the Federal High Court in Abuja, officially launching his legal practice after years in politics and public service.
The outspoken politician-turned-lawyer shared the moment on his verified Facebook page, posting:
“Senator Dino Melaye at the Federal High Court Abuja today. Appeared before Justice Emeka Nwite of Court 8.”
This appearance comes just weeks after Melaye was among over 5,000 new lawyers called to the Nigerian Bar in early July, following his law degree completion at Baze University, Abuja.
