The Police in Wenchi, Bono Region, shot and killed a suspected armed robber in the early hours of December 28, 2024, during an exchange of gunfire. The incident occurred on the Wenchi-Wa Highway around 3:40 a.m. when four armed suspects attacked passengers on a Sprinter minibus and a Yutong bus.Upon receiving a distress call, the police patrol team responded, only to be met with gunfire from the robbers.
