Bas-Mono : quatre morts après une intoxication alimentaire à Kpétsou

Une tragique intoxication alimentaire a fait quatre morts dans le village de Kpétsou, situé dans la préfecture du Bas-Mono, au sud-est du Togo. Deux nouveaux décès ont été confirmés lundi à l’hôpital Saint Jean de Dieu d’Afagnan, portant à quatre le bilan en quelques jours seulement, suscitant une vive inquiétude. Face à cette situation, le gouvernement a lancé immédiatement une enquête sanitaire, dont les premiers résultats ont été rendus publics aujourd’hui par le ministre de la Santé, Tchin Darré. « Il s’agit d’un cas localisé d’intoxication alimentaire », a confirmé le ministre, soulignant que la situation est désormais sous surveillance.
